During the Second World War, the company faced a lot of challenge in its operation. As a way of managing this change, the company decided to give free drinks to the soldiers as a strategy of showing their patriotism. This strategy ensured the company survival in that period. It is during this period that the company seized the chance of establishing around sixty-four plants across the world with the purpose of supplying drinks to the troops. One thing that has seen the company survive through all the challenges it has come across is by allowing changes to be implemented wherever it happens. For example, what happens in India should be solved depending on the India's situation. Every subsidiary is operated differently than the rest when it comes to change implementation. Coca-Cola Company before implementing change in its companies, it ensures that all the stakeholders are involved so that there will be less resistance to change (Kunerth, and Mosley, 2011).Corporate Social Responsibility. Corporate social responsibility refers to the commitment of an organization to operate ethically and contribute positively to economic development as it improves the quality of life of the workforce as well as their families. The company should also be concerned with the welfare of the community and the society at large. Being socially responsible allows an organization to develop a positive attitude to the public. It makes people feel comfortable with the company and its products. Companies ensure they do this by treating their workers fairly, producing quality products that are healthy to be consumed by the community, offering employment to the people community around, developing programs aimed at improving the lives of the people around, and providing essential services to the community (Sharma, and Kiran, 2012) .
