From the information presented in the first section of the report the country has been confronted with different macro-environmental factors as on the one hand the country has to get rid of the alarming unemployment and heavy debts, while on the other hand the country is confronted with challenges of rising inflation and environmental problems (FCO, 2012). In turn, if the country control the environmental problems associated with the present production system of the country, the cost of the country will experience further increase, while if the country did not take appropriate steps to control the amount of greenhouse gases in the country, the country is playing with its future generation as such generation will bear the burden of the environmental insecurity that the country is creating through its action now (BBC, 2012). However, a positive factor in this regard is globalization that has contributed very positively to the country over the last one decade. After the country decision to participate in the race of globalization not only the country experienced the positives in terms of favorable balance of trade and balance of payments, but also with the passage of time, the country external debts are decreasing with the passage of time (CIA, 2012). Taking into consideration these different factors the scenario planning for the country has been carried out in the following that will contain discussions regarding how the country could accomplish the socio-economic well being of the people living in the country as well as controlling the amount of inflation in the country along with the environmental problems.
As it is clear from the above Figure that for the purpose of future development the government of the country has four different options and the future socio-economic development of the country essentially rests on what strategy the government now select. The four options that are at the disposal of Argentina are elaborated in the following
